LVDY [pronounced LADY] is the Colorado-based duo of Kathleen Hooper and Aubrey Mable, creating music that moves, uplifts, and connects. With roots in singer-songwriter, indie-folk and a sound shaped by soaring harmonies and organic instrumentation, LVDY crafts songs that feel like home. In unison it is almost unrecognizable who’s who, and in harmony, an effortless blend that welcomes the exhale. Their uplifting sound and intimate storytelling weave love anthems in and out of their messages, with simple yet important reminders that we’re not alone.
Their ethereal harmonies, musical warmth, and meaningful lyrics find inspiration in the beauty of the outdoors as they draw influence from artists like Maggie Rogers, Rising Appalachia, Brandi Carlile, JOSEPH and Trevor Hall.
Formed in 2018, LVDY has played hundreds of shows across the U.S. & Europe—self-funded, self-built, and community-powered. With their start as buskers on sidewalks, they’ve grown a loyal grassroots fan base affectionately known as the LVDYMOB and have shared stages with Rising Appalachia, KT Tunstall, JOSEPH, Emily Scott Robinson, Brendan James, and Joy Oladokun, creating live experiences that feel like you’re getting to know friends. Their debut album, Gold, came to life in 2020 through a successful Kickstarter campaign, followed by The Woods in 2022. In February 2024, they released Feathers, a dynamic EP produced by award-winning artist Dan Rodriguez, marking a new chapter in their evolution. 2025 holds the release of their most mature sound yet, weaving medicinal mantras and indie-folk pop songs into your everyday life.
Through it all, LVDY remains driven by the belief that music is medicine and community is everything.

“The Denver-based duo of Kathleen Hooper and Aubrey Mable, known as LVDY, drenched the Knockout Stage in joyful exuberance on Friday. UMS is the first festival for the duo, and their stage presence is palpable. With an inherent ability to engage and interact with the crowd, LVDY surely added a few more fans to their “LVDY mob” through Hooper’s powerful vocals, Mable’s soulful guitar playing and the sheer honesty and positivity of their lyrics. A light rain only added to the dreamy vibe of the set as the duo played a mix of original tracks from their recent EP as well as a cover of Rihanna’s “Love on the Brain” intertwined with the hymn “Ave Maria,” and an unreleased track focused on cultivating gratitude despite the hardships of life. Their set seemed to further solidify their rising star status in the local music scene and spread awareness for the overwhelmingly uplifting message that is LVDY.”
